How We Give Back
Advancing a Greater Purpose
Attorney Mark McPherson genuinely enjoys the level of complexity and teamwork found in cases related to environmental law.
When he saw a need in Dallas for a law firm with his level of focus, he founded McPherson Law Firm PLLC in 1995 to improve the lives of clients throughout the state of Texas.
Today, our team at McPherson Law Firm PLLC works to extend this impact beyond our private practice.
Environmental regulation is a rapidly growing area of law, and we are proud to serve as leaders.
We work with residents, companies, legislators, and environmental professionals to advance the economy, support families and entrepreneurs, and keep up with the vastly changing realm of both science and law.
From pro bono work to the management of professional development groups, the empowering effects of our services extend to countless Texas communities and raise the standards of our practice.

What Sets Us Apart
Resources for Both Communities and Legal Professionals
Two major ways we give back include pro bono work for the Sandbranch community and administration of real estate discussion groups.
The Sandbranch community is highly impoverished and lacks access to potable water. Residents have fought unsuccessfully for vital resources for more than 30 years, which is why Attorney McPherson intervened in 2016. He was shocked by the state of Sandbranch, especially given its close physical proximity to Dallas, one of the wealthiest cities in America.
Mr. McPherson helped form a water supply corporation, whose board members are all property owners in Sandbranch. He then assisted the water supply corporation to secure a $30,000 grant to undertake necessary initial planning and design work for the water and sewage system, and he is currently working to acquire millions more needed to bring environmental justice to the residents of Sandbranch.
Our discussion groups serve legal professionals and investors in commercial real estate, providing online platforms and in-person meetings through which members can network, learn, and share resources. Mr. McPherson has greatly benefited from these types of resources in his own career, and establishing these groups has allowed him to extend the same opportunities to others.
